Mystic Lake Casino
As the Midwest's premier gaming facility, Mystic Lake Casino Hotel includes three first-class hotel towers, seven restaurants and 150,000 square feet of fun! In addition, the Mystic Lake hosts big acts and events in Mystic Lake Center, Mystic Amphitheater and Mystic Showroom, The main challenge is that the intimacy of having big fun can get lost in this big space. My approach was talk to guests on a personal level with a playful, light attitude that encouraged fun.

Created messaging for merchandise at the Mystic Lake Store at Mall of America. Creative leveraged Minnesota sayings with a gaming twist.



Mystic Lake Center offers a comprehensive experience in the most advanced event center. From the spectacular views of The Meadows at Mystic Lake golf course to the curves of the interior wood panels, organic overtones surround you and your guests for a relaxing and unique experience.
Creative emphasized elements found in nature, combined with the distinct features of Minnesota’s four seasons. I wrote website, print and digital ads.







Wayfinding signage or business and event signage can be "unfun," but Mystic Lake believed in having some personality. I wrote signage for the bakery, the spa, the casino and more.




Every season or holiday there were events and invitations to come to the casino to celebrate. These were each themed to the time of year or the promotional event. I did a bunch of these - as you can imagine - and had a blast doing so.
